Rant about mindful eating

Hey I'm Jil,

I've been a vegetarian ever since I dissected a pig’s heart in biology, and I went Vegan a year ago.
Also I try to live as Gluten free as possible
Let's do it Miley's way, am I right?

With the social media there is so much pressure on girls my age to be perfect.
We get desperate and when you're desperate you'll do anything.
We buy diet pills, try fads, and stop eating or worse.
But all that is temporary, and it gives you temporary results.
It's all about health.
A lifestyle change is the only way.
And what better time to change your life than right now?

I personally believe we all have to find what works for ourselves, but I stick to running, getting plenty of fresh air, water & sleep and making sure I fuel my body with nutrients and positive thinking.

I also believe in living life to it's fullest, which means that you are not going to live 100% healthy everyday of your life. If you're at a birthday party, have a piece of cake, if you're going out have a drink & if its Valentine's day and you're all alone, eat some damn chocolate!

I love eating. It's probably one of my favorite things. I don't deprive myself, but I know what's good for me and I live by my principles.
It's all about mindful eating. 
Being grateful for your food, preparing it with love & enjoying it to it's fullest.

I am in the process of writing a cookbook, so I made this blog to try out recipes with you guys and see how you like them.
