Peppermint Spice Oatmeal

How do you take an appetizing picture of oatmeal...
I swear I tried...
Anyway. I wasn't even going to post this until I tried it and hurriedly took a photo.
Living in a 12 floor apartment in NY you kind of dread going out to buy water and so we ran out again this morning. I realized that a bit too late when I was making oatmeal. I am kind of iffy about using tap water so my eyes landed on the freshly brewed, very strong, two bag cup of peppermint tea on my counter. I was like why not, I am not cooking for anyone and I don't care if it tastes weird.
It didn't. It actually tasted like love and christmas <3

Ingredients:
1/3 cup of GF rolled Oats
1/2 cup of freshly brewed, very strong, two bag cup of peppermint tea (I used trader Joe's bags)
1 teaspoon maple syrup
Cinnamon
pumpkin spice
3 cashews ("garnish")

Cook the Oatmeal in the Peppermint tea, and only add as much tea as you need.
Its better to just add a little add first and keep adding until the Oatmeal soaks it all in because you don't want it to taste to watery (or teary wow so funny I'm dead). Stirring is key. Always keep sirring.
Finally place it in your little bowl add maple syrup and all the other goodies.

Done.
Enjoy.

Have a great day, love you all.
