Parental Advisory Explicit Content: FOOD PORN Gluten Free 6 ingredient HCLF Pancakes




Okay guys... guys... look at this... Do I even have to hype this up?
I don't think there is a person in the world, Vegan or non-vegan, that can look at this and not salivate all over their keyboard. Listen, you are insane if you don't try this out.
Wanna lose weight eating pancakes? Here you go... These are actually completely oil free and fat free, except the few coconut sprinkles I topped it with. They are 100% gluten-free, if you're about that life, and 100% Vegan/plant-based. Like I said, I recently converted to HCLF, and I still don't regret that decision when I can eat these every single day and stay slim & healthy. We need people to join the dark side (or really the light, cruelty free, happy, healthy, non-corrupt, flower-child side), so I am proposing food porn and a beautiful body, so you really DO get the best of both worlds, shout-out to homegirl Miley.

I know, you are dying to find out how this happened, so I will shut up and teach you.

Ingredients:


1 über ripe banana (seriously, have it be black and spotty, the riper it is, the sweeter AND HEALTHIER your pancakes will be)
1/2 cup sweet sorghum flour

1/4 cup oat bran
1/2 cup almond milk
1 chia "egg" (1 tbsp chia seeds mixed with water and set aside of 10 minutes)
1 tsp baking powder
For cooking:
Almond milk & coconut oil - I only used probably like a 100th of a teaspoon of coconut oil, you will find out why below.

Toppings:
Blended frozen raspberries with splash of almond milk and tsp chia 
Blackberries
Banana
coconut flakes
toasted coconut chips

Blend all but the chia "egg" (so cute) in your Nurtibullet, or Vitamix if you are a millionaire, and then add the chia and stir it up.
Heat a non-stick skilled, although Im not sure mine was non-stick, but you'd probs be better off. Drizzle the pan with almond milk (like a teaspoon-tablespoon).
Take 1/4 cup of the batter and pour it into the pan.
Take a spoon and carefully dip the top in a tiny bit of coconut oil (literally just to grease it a tiny tiny bit) and carefully puff up/loosen up the sides of the pancakes, so that it doesn't stick, like so:




Then flip it over and wait for like 2 minutes, or I guess until it starts to smell burnt. Place it on plate and repeat until batter is gone/you have a tower of pancakes.



Add your raspberry cream syrup, whatever you want to call it, and your fruit and flakes and really whatever you want to put on, since these are pretty neutral.
