Somewhere over the rainbow Salad & Banana Island

New York decided to randomly get cold again, so I am bringing a little color into my house this evening. Or at least on my blog, since I actually made this last week. I am currently on Banana Island. Those of you who don't know anything about Banana Island and might be interested in me doing a post on it, please comment below and I will do it promptly. It's basically a mono meal cleanse, where all you eat is banana, and greens if you wish to add those, which I did. It might sound crazy at first, but you still get the same amount of calories if you do it right. People eat around 25 bananas a day on this cleanse. I am doing it because I am shooting my final reel on saturday, which is basically an actors demo reel that has been organized by my school, as a sort of graduation gift that we had to pay for. I will get to work with a crew with "Sundance" experience, so I am pumped. Also I love my director.
ANYWAY, I have to look nice, since apparently these last two years have been leading up to this moment. Ugh I am terrified to be graduating, wtf do I do now??

So yeah, thats why todays post was cooked last week.
I've been loving these huge salads, it makes eating more raw food so freaking easy.


2 cups Mixed Greens
1/2 cup Radicchio
1/2 cup carrots (shaved with a potato peeler or spiralized)
1/3 cup Pea Shoots
1/3 cup tomato
1/3 cup shaved zucchini
1/3 cup yellow bell pepper
1/4 cup chickpeas
1/4 cup white onion rings

(thats an estimate of what I did,  but really put as little or as much of each ingredient as you want, I just thought these went really well together & they look so pretty) 

Juice from 1 lemon
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil (leave it out if you're extreme hclf, obviously)
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp agave
a little cumin
black pepper
himalayan salt
